Dr. Sonja Biggs is the President and Owner of Sonja Biggs Educational Services, Inc. She has been a elementary classroom teacher, as well as a university professor working with students from birth to adulthood. Sonja is a TVI and O&M instructor dually certified in both California and Washington State.




Atom Biggs, BSN RN, is the Vice President of Sonja Biggs Educational Services, Inc. He brings a wealth of expertise from a medical point of view, as well as that of a parent of a blind child. Atom enjoys creating wonderful recreational and team building activities for us to experience together. He is Sonja's husband of 32 years and we are so fortunate to have him on our team!





Brandon Keith Biggs is the CFO of Sonja Biggs Educational Services, Inc. He graduated in June 2016 with a BA in Music. Brandon also has an extensive background in business, marketing, and helping start-ups become successful businesses. Brandon is instrumental in bringing growth and vision to our company. He is currently working on a Masters Degree in Universal Accessibility through Ocad University in Toronto, Canada. Brandon is also an expert in Assistive Technology and guides our team in knowing what technology our blind & visually impaired students need. We are fortunate to have him help build our team!




Lindy Davis came to us from Walla Walla, WA. She is our new Human Resources Director. Lindy has a B.A. in Psychology from Walla Walla University. She also produces our large print and tactile materials using InDesign and Photoshop. Lindy brings with her a positive attitude and brings joy to our work place. We are so happy that Lindy is a part of our team!








Cindy Chamberlin joined our team from Chicago, IL. Cindy graduated from Walla Walla University with a BA in Journalism. Cindy began with our company as an Administrative Assistant and has now moved into being a TVI Intern. Cindy started her program to become a TVI/O&M at San Francisco State University in the fall 2016. She is enjoying her work with the students this year. We are so excited to have her working with us!





Emily Griffith is a TVI/O&M Intern working with us this year. Emily will complete her O&M training through SFSU next December 2017. She is also working on her TVI credential. Emily enjoys working with students and brings creativity and professionalism to the field. We are so happy that Emily has chosen to work on our team!







Max Avendano holds a B.A. in Literature from UC Santa Cruz. Max works as an Intervener for students who are deafblind. He knows American Sign Language and has completed all of the OHOA modules for Intervener training. Max is also learning braille and assistive technology. Max is also fluent in both Spanish and English. He is currently working with a student on the California School for the Blind campus. We are so proud of Max and glad he has joined our team!






Yesenia Castro-Arreola  has a BA in Liberal Studies. She is very strong in math skills. She knows both literary and Nemeth braille codes and is currently working as our main braillist and a 1:1 paraeducator for a totally blind student in the Morgan Hill School District.  Yesenia is bilingual in both Spanish and English. She has brought us so much in her skills as a braillist. We are happy she has joined our team!
